How does costume hire work?
Costume hire is currently in early access while our premises are fitted out and the collection catalogued. Contact us with your dates and production details — our team works with you through designer consultation and direct garment requests, then confirms availability and arranges collection.
How long can I hire a garment for?
Hire periods are flexible and quoted per production. Tell us your shoot or performance dates in your enquiry and we'll tailor the arrangement.
Do you deliver, or do I collect?
Collection from the archive is available now; delivery services are coming online shortly. Let us know what suits your production in your enquiry.
How are the costumes cleaned?
Using our preservation-focused Soft-Wash process — gentle on vintage and delicate textiles where commercial dry-cleaning would cause damage. Our in-house Laundry & Soft-Wash Facility is currently being installed and will come online shortly.
Can I donate a garment?
Yes — through our Pledge a Garment program. We record its history, care for it professionally, and give it new life on screen and stage.
What is the WA Production Attraction Incentive?
CCVE provides wardrobe infrastructure that contributes to Qualifying Western Australian Expenditure (QWAE) — compliant wardrobe hire, fittings, alterations, laundry and localised processing of interstate and international costume acquisitions. See the WA Incentive page for details.
